Roxbury Township, Mrs. Alice M Springer, 92, died on October 31, 2023 at her home. She was born at home in Lower Berkshire Valley and graduated from Roxbury High School in 1949. She was the last of 8 children. During her lifetime she worked for the Howmet Corporation in Rockaway as a manufacturing Inspector .

 She was a member of Roxbury Senior Citizens  and enjoyed bowling.

She was predeceased by her husbands; James Truitt and Harland Springer. She is survived by her 3 sons; Gregory J Truitt of Kenvil, Steven H Springer of Kenvil , and Jeffrey A Springer of Warren County. She also leaves her six  Grandchildren; Kristy, Breanna, Robert, Joyce, Jeffrey and Sara.
