Roxbury Township, Mr. William Joseph Kappes, 63, died on March 25, 2017 at the Morristown Medical Center. He was born in Dover and was a life long resident of Succasunna, graduating from Roxbury High School. He was a mechanic for Sunnyside Landscaping in Byram, and started his career at Jerry Baker’s Auto Body in Kenvil many years ago. He loved restoring cars, antique clocks, and radio’s.

 He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Kappes, of 46 years, his son William Richard (and Jennifer) Kappes of Bushkill, PA, daughter Heather Buis Kappes of Succasunna, and by his grandson Jacob.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com), on Thursday from 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name through his family.
