Roxbury Township, Mr. William Doublosky, Sr., 84, died on October 15, 2013 at his home in Succasunna. He was born and raised in Wharton and then moved to Succasunna. He served in the U S Navy during the Korean War, and was a retired switchman and trouble shooter for Verizon in Roxbury. He was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

 He is survived by his wife Dorothy of 59 years, his 3 children; Terri L Burkhardt of Landing, Stan and his wife Cheryl Doublosky and William Jr. and his wife Karen Doublosky, both of PA, 6 grandchildren; Kandice, Kristy, and Karl Burkhardt, Christopher, Jason, and Carly Doublosky, 2 great grandchildren; Lily and Luis, and his sister Helen Chazick of Michigan. He was predeceased by his brothers; Hank and Peter, Jr. and sister’s; Josie, Lottie and Mary and son-in-law Karl Burkhardt.

 The Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, 10 am, at the Succasunna United Methodist Cemetery, 91 Main Street. Arrangements are by the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com).
