Roxbury Township, Mr. Robert Edward Matthews, 48, died on April 21, 2017 at home in Ledgewood. He was born and raised in Livingston and moved to Roxbury Township 11 years ago. He was a commercial truck driver and he enjoyed being with his wife and children, fishing and baseball. He attended St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer Matthews of 20 years, daughter Skylar J Matthews of Rockaway, son Justin R Matthews of Ledgewood, brother Mickey Matthews of Randolph, and sister Jamie Dasilva of Harding Township. He was predeceased by his parents Bernice and Thomas Matthews, and 2 brothers; Thomas Matthews and John Matthews.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday from 2 – 5 pm. The Prayer Service will be held at 4:30 pm. A private burial service will follow at the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in East Hanover.
