Roxbury Township, Mr. Randall R Stalter, Sr., 82, died on October 30, 2011 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. He was born and raised in Rockaway and moved to Kenvil 60 years ago. He served in the U S Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart, and was a Disabled American Veteran. He was a grounds keeper and maintenance worker at the County College of Morris in Randolph, many years ago, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and football.
He was one of 9 children and is survived by his wife Marguerite (Blickley) of 59 years, 4 children; Linda (and Girard) Kratz of Dover, Randall Jr. (and Robyn) Stalter of Frelinghuysen Twp, Diane (and John) Gallo of Mt. Arlington, and Edward Stalter of Kenvil, brother Harold Stalter of Rockaway, 9 grandchildren; Thomas and Christopher Kratz, Randiann, Corey, and Chad Stalter, John Michael Gallo III, Erica McBride, Matthew Gallo, and Stefanie Stalter, and 2 great grandchildren; Kylie Wagner and John Blake McBride IV.
