Mount Olive Twp., Mr. Michael Kekelis, 70, died on November 22, 2014 at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. He was born and raised in Jersey City and lived in Randolph before moving to Budd Lake 18 years ago. He served in the U S Army during the Viet Nam War and then became a salesman and purchasing agent at Crown Cork & Seal Inc., White Metal, Hartz Mountain, and most recently at Casio Inc. in Dover. He was a member of St. Jude R C Church and Knights of Columbus in Budd Lake. He was also an avid golfer, loved playing softball, and coached many Randolph Youth Sports.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine Kekelis of 47 years, 2 sons; Michael M (and Erin) Kekelis of Scotch Plains and Matthew (and Leslie) Kekelis of Nashville, TN, 4 grandchildren; Quinn, Zoe, Sophie, and Greyson, sister Mary (and Jim) Tosso of Randolph, and nephews; James (and Virginia) Tosso of NYC, and Mark Tosso of Madison.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Tuesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, 10:30 am, at the Church of the Assumption in Morristown.
