For Over 55 Years
After a long illness Maureen Springer of Succasunna, NJ died on January 15th, 2016. Born in the Bronx in 1931 she then resided in Succasunna NJ with her husband since 1962 where they raised four children. Devoted mother, wife and grandmother, her love were her children, grandchildren, and great grand children. Maureen also was a member of The Alter Rosary Society at Saint Theresa’s Church, giving of her time to raise monies for the poor. She retired from the Hartford Insurance Company in 1994 where she preformed manual rating for commercial polices.
Maureen was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, and leaves her four children; Patricia Janson- Trapasso of Roxbury NJ, Loretta Boyle-Janson (and James) of Chester NJ, William Springer of Cincinnati Ohio, Barbara Springer-Trufolo ( and Alan) of Brick, NJ., her thirteen grand children, Bryan Uszenski, Jacqueline Schramm, Jason Springer, Patricia Saltarelli , Bonnie Brecher, James Boyle, Garrett Springer, Melisa Drake, Jennifer Drake, Cara Trapasso, Christina Drake, Nicholas Trufolo, Brandon Trufolo, and 19 great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister Anne Flynn of Tappan, NY and brother Michael Adams of Hong Kong.
Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, (973-584-7264) (www.davishepplewhitefh.com) on Tuesday, from 3 – 7 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, 10 am at St. Therese R.C. Church, Succasunna, with the Internment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester, NJ.
