Roxbury Township,   Mrs. Maria Cristina Petrillo, 96, died on October 25, 2011 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. She was born in Pietraroja, Italy and immigrated to Brooklyn in 1959, before moving to Ledgewood, NJ. She was a retired seamstress for the Eagle Clothing Company in Brooklyn, where she worked for over 20 years and was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union

She was predeceased by her husband Gabriel in 1982, and is survived by her 2 children; Joseph Petrillo of Queens, NY and Matilda P Secci of Ledgewood, and by her 2 grandchildren Kristina Lee and Perry Lee.

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com on Thursday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 10 am, at the Funeral Home with the interment to follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Queens, NY.
