Roxbury Township, Margaret “Snookie” Elizabeth Hosking 85, died on July 25, 2014 at her home in Succasunna. She was born in Morristown and lived in Dover most of her life before moving to Succasunna 15 years ago. She grew up in Wharton and was a 1947 graduate of Wharton High School. She worked at the coffee shop in Dover General Hospital and retired in 1993. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Dover for 60 years.

She is survived by her husband John R Hosking of 64 years, 3 children Ida Mae (Greg) Tidey of Kenvil, John F (Sharon) Of Succasunna and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Hosking at home. She also leaves her sister Barbara Ferry of Wharton, 3 grandchildren; Amanda Tidey, Holly (Michael) Mastrian of Succasunna and John G (Jackie) Hosking of Succasunna, and 2 great grandchildren Abby and Aubree Mastrian.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 am. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, 11 am, at Sacred Heart RC Church in Dover, with the interment to follow at the Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover.
