Roxbury Township, Mr. Joseph H. Pinto, 72, died on July 24, 2024 at the Morristown Medical Center. He was born in Orange and grew up in East Orange, NJ . He later lived in Bloomfield before moving to Ledgewood 43 years ago.
He graduated from Clifford J. Scott High School, class of 1970 and later from the County College of Morris in Randolph. He was an auto mechanic for many years at Frutchey Automotive before becoming Fleet Manager for the On Site Fleet Service company in Rutherford ,NJ.
He is survived by his wife Lynne B. (Newman) Pinto of 52 years, his 3 children; Joseph Pinto, Heather Pinto Viscito, and Nicholas Pinto and 7 grandchildren; Emma, Gabby, Ella, Zac Pinto and Matty, Emily and Livy Viscito.
Private arrangements are by the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) A Memorial Service will be held at a later time.
Donations may be made in his name to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
