Roxbury Township, Mr. John Gregson, Jr, 80, died on March 1, 2018 at his home in Kenvil. He was born in Newton and grew up in Lake Hopatcong, and lived in Roxbury Township for 54 years. He was a 1956 graduate of Roxbury High School and then served in the U S Air Force from 1956-1962. He then earned his BS Degree from St. Peter’s College. He was a Supervisor for the Port Authority of N Y & N J before retiring in 1993, and was also a big Giants fan.

He is survived by his wife Evelyn F Gregson (nee James) of 59 years, 5 children; Peggy (and Jeff) Barth of Washington, DC, John D (and Julie) Gregson of Rockaway, Cheryl (and Greg) Scarnecchia of Garfield, Lisa (and John) Weiss of Long Island, NY, and Melissa (and Dave) Ottoson of Stanhope. He also leaves his brother Robert Gregson of CT, sisters; Barbara Gregson of CA, and Nancy Trevett of NV, 13 grandchildren; Kassandra, Meghan, Greg Jr, Christopher, Cory, Devon, John J, Jennifer, Jenna, David, Charlotte, John K, and Thomas, and a great grandchild Caleb. He was predeceased by his daughter Wendy Clements and sister Elizabeth Gregson.
