Roxbury Township, Mrs. Irene G Specht, 93, died on June 26, 2015 at her home in Ledgewood. She was born in Newark and lived in Succasunna, Flanders, and Kunkletown, PA before moving to Ledgewood  in 1998. She was a retired secretary for the Roxbury Township Board of Education where she worked for 19 years before retiring in 1985. She was also an avid golfer and bowler, member of the R E A of Morris County, and attended the Ledgewood Baptist Church.

 She was predeceased by her husband Harry A Specht in 1995 and is survived by her daughter Carol S (and Thomas ) Cherry of Ledgewood, 2 grandchildren; Stacey (and Manny) Espiritu and Brian (and Amy) Cherry, and 4 great grandchildren; Harry and Peter Espiritu and Tommy and Brianna Cherry.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday, July 5^th, from 2 – 5  pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 6^th, 10 am at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Methodist Cemetery.
