Denville, NJ.    Mrs. Ilse Stoner, 87, died on November 5, 2020 at The Oaks in Denville. She was born in Eitorf, Germany and came to Long Island, NY in 1959. She lived in Mt. Lakes and Succasunna for many years before moving to Denville 3 years ago. She was a retired cook and cafeteria worker in several of the Roxbury Township schools. She loved to travel and go camping, and to spend time with her family.

She was predeceased by her first husband Winthrop Neilson in 2014, and by her second husband Harold Stoner in April of this year. She is survived by her 2 daughters; Luise Neilson and partner Betsy Eastwood of Maplewood, and Vickie Neilson and spouse Pamela Papish of Pleasantville, NY. She also leaves her 6 step-children; Lynn A (and Bob) Klein of Harleysville, PA, Shirley (and Jim) Lawson of Green Village, Carol Carson of Hackettstown, Bobby (and Jill) Stoner of Lake Hopatcong, Janet (and Fred) Saunders of Marshalls Creek, PA, and Ronnie (and Terri) Stoner of NC., 14 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com), on Saturday from 10-10:45 am. A graveside Service will follow at 11 am at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
