Roxbury Township, Mr. Gary W. Lanier, Jr., 45, died on July 23, 2014 at Marine’s Hospital in Key Largo. He was born in Bronx, NY and lived in Savannah, GA, while serving in the US Army, prior to moving to Roxbury Township 19 years. He was an alarm technician and loved his children, family and friends as much as his thrill seeking sports such as skydiving, motorcycle riding and scuba diving.
He is survived by his former wife, Sandy Harding of Kenvil, 3 children, Victoria, Alexander and Breanne, sisters, Gina Phillips and Tammy Lanier along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 9 am for a gathering and exchanging of stories with mass starting at 10 am at St. Therese R C Church, 155 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ. A trust has been established for his children in the name of Lanier Family Trust.
