Roxbury Township, Mr. Edson Davenport Strong, IV, died on June 16, 2023. He was born in Rahway and lived in Succasunna most all of his life. For High School he attended NYMA Academy in NY. In 2004 he returned home from northwest Arkansas / the Ozarks. He was a machinist and tool & die maker for several aerospace companies before his retirement in 2004.  

He was the son of the late Edson Strong, III and Mildred (Bieler) Strong. He is survived by his daughter Kymberly C Strong and granddaughter Keysha Strong. He was an amazing grandfather and helped raise his granddaughter.  

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ (973)-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday (June 25th) from 2 – 5 pm. The Graveside Service will be held on Monday, (June 26^th) 1 pm, at the Sterling Cemetery in Greenport, (LI) New York.
