Roxbury Township, Edna Rae Narby, 77, passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Sunday, December 26. Born in Kenvil, she lived there all her life before moving to Regency Grande in Dover in October 2006. She was a graduate of Roxbury High School, Class of l952.
The daughter of the late Martha and Selbern “Stub” Narby, she is survived by one brother, Selbern “Bub” (Elaine) Narby of Netcong, and four sisters; Vada LaFalce (Frank) Netcong, Eleanor Dyrness, Flanders; Judith Stover (Robert), Hendersonville, NC and Martha (Merle) Little, High Point, NC. Also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and nephews.
Edna was an avid Met fan, and enjoyed knitting, embroidery and crossword puzzles. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Regency Grande (second floor) for the kindness and excellent care given to Edna. Per her wishes, all services will be private.
