Mt. Olive Township, Mrs. Catherine Marie Thompson, 86, died on November 11, 2012 at her home. She was born in Paterson where she lived before moving to Flanders many years ago. She retired from the Clear-Span Structures Company, which she owned, until 1983 and was also the owner of the Fla-Net Camp Grounds in Flanders since 1969. She also spent many hours flying in her private airplane and riding motorcycles.

She was predeceased by her husband Edwin C Thompson in 1993, and is survived by her 4 children; Edward Thompson of FL, Terry Thompson of Flanders, Kathi Vogler of Pompton Plains, and Tawny Taylor of West Milford. She also leaves her 9 grandchildren and great granddaughter.
