Roxbury Township, Mr. Carmen Vincent Dolise, 55, died on November 28 2023 at the Newark University Hospital in Newark. Carmen was born in Orange and grew up in Maplewood. He then moved to Succasunna in 1980 and attended the Eisenhower School and was a 1986 graduate of Roxbury High School where he played football and baseball. He was also an avid fisherman, Giants Fan, Yankees Fan, NY Knicks, and loved his pets Ruger and Boots. He became a carpenter at age 19 which he did all of his life and was also a Roxbury Gaels football and baseball coach.
Carmen is survived by his wife Jennifer Mae (Lida) Dolise of 21 years; sons Vincent Michael Dolise and Anthony Lawrence Dolise; parents Vincent and Nora Dolise; sister Kimberly (and Scott) Kelberg, and their children Jordan and Madeline Kelberg. He also leaves behind his aunt Carol (and Michael) Gonnello. He also leaves his brother-in-law Michael Lida and sister-in-laws Jackie and Justine Lida (and Dave), and his nieces and nephews, Mychal and Marc, and Leah, Jessica and Madison, and Christie (and John) and his great niece & nephew Brody and Mia.
Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com), on Friday from 4 – 7 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, 10 am, at St Elizabeth Ann Seton R C Church, 61 Main Street, Flanders, NJ 07836.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through the Funeral Home, for the children’s college fund.
