Dover, NJ.  Mrs. Barbara M Staufenberger, 85, died on June 23, 2022 at Exelcare in Dover. She was born and raised in Newark and lived in Lake Hiawatha for 50 years before moving to Randolph and later to Dover. She graduated from St. Vincent’s Academy H S in Newark in1954 and was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Church in Parsippany. She was a retired Payroll Administrator for the Schiffenhaus Packaging Company in Newark. 

She was predeceased by her husband Paul F Staufenberger on February 24, 1993 and sister Marilyn “Sis” McGuire on March 25, 2018. She is survived by her son Peter (and Ericka ) Staufenberger of Leonardtown, MD and daughter Mary Ann (and Edward) Joyce of Wharton. She also leaves her 5 grandchildren; Matthew Staufenberger, Nicholas Staufenberger, Beth Staufenberger, Kelsey Joyce, Morgan Joyce and great grandson, Luke Staufenberger.
