Mt. Arlington, Mrs. Barbara Balz, 72, died on May 11, 2018. She was born in Bronx, NY and grew up in Fair Lawn. She then lived in West Orange before moving to Mt. Arlington 20years ago. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for the Economics Press Company in Fairfield.

She is survived by her husband Wayne Balz of 49 years, son Christopher (and Deanna) Balz and daughter Ellen Balz. She also leaves her 4 grandchildren; Ashley (and Adam) Anastasio, Chelsea Balz, Marissa Balz, and Anthony, 2 great grandchildren; Jace and Rylee, brother James (and Maggie) Weidener, and sister Ellen (and Roger) DePalma-Bentzen.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ  973-584-7264  (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Tuesday May 15, 2018  from 4 – 8   pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday at 10 am, at the Funeral Home with the entombment to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
