Roxbury Township, Mr. Albert Frederick Schultz, 85, died on October 19, 2013 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. He grew up in Glen Ridge and graduated from the Orange High School. He then served in the U S Army during the Korean War and was presented the Purple Heart award. He supported the V F W, St. Jude’s Hospital, the American Cancer Society, and was a member of the “friends of the Roxbury Township Library”.
He is survived by his wife Ruth D (Potts) of 58 years, 3 children; Karen (and John) Hammer of Mt. Arlington, William (and Chrissy) Schultz of NH, and Christopher (and Eileen) Schultz of Kenvil, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and brother Donald (and Carol) Schultz of MO.
Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Tuesday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 10 am, at the Funeral Home, with the internment to follow at the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in East Hanover.
