Roxbury Township, Mr. David Frederick Szetela, 83, died on November 29, 2018 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. He was born and raised in Ware, Massachusetts and lived in Teaneck before moving to Roxbury Township 46 years ago. He served in the U S Army during the Korean War. He then worked for many years as a Senior Member Technical Consultant for Lucent Technologies in New York City. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and loved gardening and going to the gym.

He is survived by his wife Ilona G Szetela of 49 years, twins; Gregory Stephen Szetela of Key West, FL and Stoneharbor, NJ and Elaine Christina Holliday of Peachtree City, GA. He also leaves his 2 grandchildren; Thomas Holliday and Kelly Holliday, brother Ken (and Laurie) Lewes of CT, and sister Carol (and William) O’Hara of CT.
