Folsom, PA,  Dr. Kimberly J Drake, 45, died on June 8, 2015 at the Crozer Medical Center in Chester, PA after a short illness. She was born in Dover and grew up in Budd Lake graduating from Mt. Olive H S in 1988. She then earned her BS from Montclair State in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Education. She continued at North Carolina State University where she completed her MS and Doctorate. She was a mathematician for the U S Navy at the Philadelphia Naval Yard for many years. Previously, she interned at the Livermore Nuclear Laboratory in San Francisco, CA and for the Boeing Aircraft Company in the Space Technology department in Seattle, WA and in France at the French Institute of Science.

 She was predeceased by her mother Karen P (Pfrommer) Drake in 2012 and is survived by her father Gene (and his wife Gloria) Drake of Amherst, VA, sister Kelly A Marin of Budd Lake, brothers; Spencer C (and his wife Megan) Drake and Andy Drake, both of Amherst, VA, and by her niece Kaitlyn Marin (and fiancé Robert Sawart) of Budd Lake.
