Cedar Knolls, NJ. ~ Mr. Thomas Frank Julian, 70, passed away on October 24, 2024 at the Care One of Hanover.
Tom was born on May 3, 1954 in Newark, NJ and grew up in Whippany where he graduated from Hanover Park High School. He resided in Succasunna then moved to Cedar Knolls where he lived for many years. He worked at various programs offered by ARC Morris of Morris County.
Tom was predeceased by his father Thomas L Julian in 2012, and is survived by his mother Doris (Steudle) Julian of Hackettstown, sister, Dale Julian-Bierce and husband Richard Bierce of Sparta, nieces Molly Bierce of Mystic, CT and Jamie Bierce of Montclair, NJ. Tom has numerous cousins in NJ, NY, FL and TX who he enjoyed spending time with through the years.
Tom was an avid sports fan throughout his life and got the most enjoyment out of spending time with his family, especially during the holidays.
Tom was loved and well taken care of for many years through ARC Morris, an organization caring for individuals with special needs, to which the family will always be grateful.
His residence manager said “Thomas was always cooperative, a gentleman, always waiting to open the house door for me, always reminding me about his appointments. He was so smart … Let’s remember the good times we spent with him.”
His niece wrote “Uncle Tom, thank you for teaching me patience, kindness and unconditional love. I wish this life had been kinder to you. Rest easy <3”
A 1:00 pm Memorial Service will be held on Monday Nov. 4th, 2024 at The First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna, 99 Main St. Succasunna, NJ. The interment will take place at the Hollywood Cemetery in Union at a later time.
