Roxbury Township, Stacey Ellen Della Vecchia (nee Robson), 66, passed away on May 8, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family at Morristown Medical Center. She grew up in Hopatcong and lived in Rockaway for many years before moving to Roxbury Township 18 years ago.
Stacey was kind and caring, often willing to lend a hand when possible, and always unapologetically herself. Her thoughtful nature touched the lives of many, and she made those around her feel supported and appreciated. She loved her family and friends deeply, and her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her. She will be missed more than words can say.
Stacey also had a natural talent for making people laugh, whether through her quick wit or the hilarious stories she told. Her sense of humor brought joy to those around her and made even ordinary moments unforgettable.
Stacey is survived by her loving husband, Matthew Della Vecchia, and beloved sons Alexander Robson (Deanna) of Rockaway, Nikolas Della Vecchia of Randolph, step-son, Matthew Della Vecchia of Pompton Lakes, step-daughters Dana Della Vecchia of Randolph, Nicole Wainen (Jimmy) of Parsippany and her adored grandson, Jax Devon, whom she waited her whole life to meet and treasured during the precious five months they shared, five sisters, Sheryl McMillan of Hackettstown, Kim Fitzgerald (Patrick) of Downingtown, PA, Joanne Bixby of Netcong, Lisa Robson of Dover, and Karen Timpani (Raymond) of Randolph; and many beloved nieces, nephews, sisters and brother in-laws. She was predeceased by her father, James Robson, in 2011, her mother, Gloria Robson, in 2009, and her brother James Robson in 1993.
