Chester Township, Shirley K Carroll-Dencker, 92, died peacefully on May 15, 2022 at the VNA Hospice Center in Dover. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Roxbury Township. She was a 1947 graduate of Roxbury High School and for many years was a School Board Administrator in East Hanover. She was a very active member and Elder of the U P C Church in Flanders.

 She was predeceased by her first husband Frank R Carroll, Sr. in 1977 and by her son Frank R Carroll, Jr. in 2010. She is survived by her husband Robert H Dencker, daughter Patricia A Carroll, and son Kelly S Sr. (and Maryann) Carroll, and step-son Stuart (and Patricia) Dencker. She also leaves her 9 grandchildren; Heather (and Mitch) Kelmer Maurer, Stephen J. Jr. (and Brielle) Kelmer, Kelly S Carroll, Jr., Andrew M Carroll, Jessica M Carroll, Jennifer Smith, Robert (and Sara) Smith, Shane Dencker, Brian Dencker (and Jennifer) and Jeffrey Guaritay (and Taylor), 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

 Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Friday, May 20^th, from 2-4&6-8 pm. A memorial service will be held at a later date, with her burial at the Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Basking Ridge, NJ
