Roxbury Township, Mrs. Shirley Jean Chervenack, 86, died on November 15, 2021 at her home in Ledgewood. She was born in Wantage Township and later moved to Roxbury Township. She was a 1953 graduate of Roxbury High School and later worked in banking for many years ending at the Bank of America in Succasunna.

She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas A Chervenack, Sr. and is survived by her children; Kelly Fowler of Ledgewood and Nicholas Andrew Chervenack, Jr. and his wife Traci, of Wharton, and a sister Barbara Condit of Newton. She also leaves her grandchildren; Emily Fowler and Christine Grenot, and great granddaughter Kinsley Grenot, and many nieces and nephews.

Shirley enjoyed watching her granddaughters play sports. She was an avid baseball fan especially The Yankees and her favorite player Derek Jeter.

She was a cat enthusiast, and spent many hours caring for her favorite calico cats and the deer that came to visit her often for bread crumbs, Matzo crackers and carrots.
