Selina B Smith

Roxbury Township, Selina Bartolomeo Smith of Succasunna. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Selina passed away on January 4th at the age of 84 after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis M Smith, her husband of 57 years, devoted mother to Brian Smith, Adam and Vicki Smith and Anita and Rob Stix. Loving grandmother of Helen Ann, Emily, Ryan,Connor and Lily Smith, Francesca and Nathan Stix. Her family was the single most important part of her life. She is also survived by her sister Beverly Bartolomeo of Philadelphia. Throughout the years she was a volunteer at Roxbury Schools and St. Therese Library. She was a book – seller at the now closed “The Book Shop” in Morristown, NJ. She was a member of the Roxbury Seniors Club and the Roxbury Library Book Club. Selina was a bowler, Mah Jongg player and reader of good books. A movie fan of old and new films and loved good music and was a sports fan of all Philadelphia athletic teams. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

All through her illness she was filled with great love and gratitude to her children, daughter-in-law Vicki and grandsons Ryan and Connor and to her dear friends Joan and Gene DeLorenzo whose kindness and thoughtfulness was never ending.

A repass will follow at her home. In lieu of flowers we welcome you to make a donation to the Leukemia Foundation or to the Charity of your choice in her memory.
