Roxbury Township, Mrs. Ruth M Dahowski, 84, died on December 15, 2012 at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. She was born and raised in Newark, before moving to Succasunna 55 years ago. She was a bookkeeper at the Valley Pharmacy in Succasunna for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband Leo Dahowski in 2000 and is survived by her daughter Gail Donnelly and husband John of Randolph, son Mark Leo Dahowski and wife Lorayne of Goshen, NY, brother Thomas and wife Antoinette of MD, and 6 grandchildren; Kelly Hildreth and her husband Christian, Michael Donnelly and his wife Jennifer, Shanna Donnelly, and Danielle, Kyle and Stephanie Dahowski, and by her great grandson Colin Donnelly, and nieces and nephews. 

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com on Tuesday from 6 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 10 am, at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
