Rockaway Twp., Mrs. Ruth Bertha Lyons, 88, died on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at her home. She was born in Jersey City and lived in Mt. Tabor and Port Morris before moving to Rockaway Township in 1955. During WW II she worked for the Aircraft Radio Corporation in Boonton and later became a Registered Nurse at Babies Hospital in Newark.

She was predeceased by her husband James J Lyons, Sr. In 2003 and is survived by her 5 children; James J Lyons, Jr. of Morristown, Kathleen (and John) Kurpinski of Blairstown, and; Michael M Lyons, Stanley (and Linda) Lyons and Gerard D Lyons, and granddaughter Brittany Lyons all of Rockaway Township.
