Roxbury Township, Mr. Ronald L Gisonna, 70, died on July 1, 2022 at the Morristown Medical Center.  He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Roxbury Township 35 years ago.  Ron was a retired salesman for the Win Depot Restaurant Supply Center in Long Island City, NY.   Ron was a member of the Ever Young Senior Citizens Club and he was also a founding member and former President of the Roxbury Arts Alliance.  Ron loved food and spent hours talking about restaurants he enjoyed.  His favorite past times included going to classic car shows and casinos in the area.  Ron and his wife Linda traveled to Florida often.

He is survived by his wife Linda (Cassimore) Gisonna of 49 years, his sons Nicholas Gisonna and his wife Kelly; Matthew Gisonna; and his cherished grandson James Gisonna.  Ron will be dearly missed by countless others.

Friends and family may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Wednesday, July 6th, from 3 – 6 pm.  Additionally, a celebration of Ron’s life will be held on a later date.   All family and friends will be invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the family would be appreciated.  Ron was planning on starting an investment fund for his grandson James and we would like to honor his wishes.
