Roxbury Township, Mr. Robert T King, 78, died on October 6, 2021. He was born in Orange, NJ on August 19, 1943. He was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Daire) King. After graduation from Our Lady of the Valley High School in Orange, he joined the U S Army. After completing his basic training at Fort Dix, NJ, he was stationed in Germany for two and a half years. Upon his return, he met his future wife Sandra. He built his life around her and his daughters. He was a cable splicer for JCP&L and retired in 2004 after 34 years of service.

He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Sandra (Esposito), daughters Erin (and Brian) Schwartz of Succasunna, Kori (and Don) Sheneman of Stanhope, grandchildren; Ethan and Brandon Schwartz, Abby and Lucas Sheneman. His brother-in-law Robert Esposito (and partner Annette), nephew and God Son Matthew (and Nicole) Esposito, nephew Michael (and partner Emmi) Esposito, his neighbor and good friend of 50 years, Tad Simms. As well as many wonderful cousins.

Robert enjoyed golf and having lunch with the retired JCP&L group. A lifelong fan of all New York/New Jersey teams, the Yankees, Mets, Jets, and Giants. His biggest enjoyment was traveling with his beloved wife and daughters, his son-in-laws and his much loved grandchildren. Watching his grandchildren at cross country events, basketball games, marching bands competitions, and so many baseball games were the things most loved by him. He looked forward to the annual KSS family road trips to Washington D C, Niagara Falls, Williamsburg, Myrtle Beach, Baltimore Harbor, and Sunapee, NH.

He will be loved forever and missed for always by his family. Just a very good man.

A Memorial visitation will be held at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ, 973- 584-7264.
