Boonton, NJ. Robert L Scheibner, 90, died on December 30, 2022 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. He was born in New York City and graduated from Netcong High School in 1950. He lived in Macungie, PA for the past 20 years before moving to Victoria Mews in Boonton, NJ this year. He served in the U S Army during the Korean Conflict and worked for the CNA Insurance Co holding various positions over 40 years across the Northeast .He enjoyed playing golf, playing bridge, traveling. being with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, and the VFW. He also coached Little League and CYO basketball.

He is survived by his wife Joan P (Fallon) Scheibner of 70 years, and by his sons; Michael ( wife Kathy) Scheibner of Shrewsbury, PA, and Thomas ( wife Christine) Scheibner of Stanhope, NJ. He also leaves his 4 grandchildren; Nicholas (wife Jennifer), Amanda (husband Kevin), Victoria (husband Chip), Vincent, and 3 great grandchildren; Corbin, Joanna, and Abigail. He was predeceased by his son Robert “Bobby” Scheibner,. in 2009.
