Stanhope, Mr. Richard A Kise (57) died on December 26, 2010. He was
born in Dover and grew up in Wharton and Roxbury Township and lived in
Newton before moving to Stanhope 3 months ago. He was a 1970 graduate
of Roxbury High School and then served in the United States Air Force.
He was a machine operator and driver for the Allstate Blasting Company
in Hamburg and previously worked at Mt. Hope Rock Products, County
Concrete and Newcrete.
An adventurous type, he was an avid hunter and firsherman, and loved
all things nature-related. His love for animals was second only to the
love for his family and friends. He was a very devoted husband and father and is survived by his wife Robin A (Pravata) Kise of 24 years, son Daniel J. Kise at home, brother Robert Kise of Berkshire Valley, sister Ruth Rounds of Budd Lake, brother-in-law John Pravata of Hopatcong, sister-in-law Kim Messier of Stanhope and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 16th at 3 pm at the
Succasunna Methodist Church, 91 Main Street, Succasunna. Arrangements
are by the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street,
