Raymond T Gardner, Jr.

Oxford, NJ. Mr. Raymond Thomas Gardner, Jr, 55, died on March 18, 2022 at St Luke’s Hospital in Phillipsburg. Born in Dover, he grew up and lived in Mine Hill. He moved to Oxford 7 years ago. He previously worked for the Morris County Road Department, Kahant Electrical Supply Co. and American Air Cooled Company. He was an avid hunter and loved music. He was a guitarist in the band, Kingz Ransom and loved singing and playing guitar for his friends. He also loved dogs, especially his “baby” Ginger.

He was pre-deceased by his mother, Louise Gardner (nee Dean), and his father, Raymond Gardner Sr. He is survived by his son Raymond T Gardner, III, his grandson Keegan Gardner, and by his three sisters; Donna Walters and her husband William of Randolph, Mary Swistack and husband Robert of Mansfield, and Lynn Apolinaro and her husband David of Byram, and nephews, Matthew and Ryan Swistack, Jayden Apolinaro, James Walters and niece Jennifer Citro. He will be missed by the many friends he made over the years in school and the community, including Kyle Sallie and Robert Shackelford, whom he considered as sons.

There will be a public graveside service on Thursday, 11 a.m., at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery, in Succasunna. Arrangements are by Davis and Hepplewhite  Funeral Home,96 Main St., Succasunna, NJ973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com)
