Roxbury Township,     Mr. Paul Frank Kandra (72) died on February 5, 2011 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. He was born in Newark and grew up in Irvington, where he graduated from Irvington Vo-Tech. He lived in West Orange before moving to Succasunna 40 years ago. Mr. Kandra worked for the United Auto Workers Union at the General Motors Plant in Linden for many years. After his retirement he worked at the West Morris Central High School, and most recently at the A&P in Flanders and the Mt. Olive Twp. Wal-Mart.

He is survived by his wife Carole, 3 children; Barbara (and Peter) Ferns of Cranford, Brian Kandra of Ewing, and Stacey Kandra of Langhorne, PA.  He also leaves his 2 granddaughters; Jessica and Mackenzie and 3 brothers; Joseph of Belleville, Stephen and Robert (both) of Manchester Twp.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite, 96 Main St, Succasunna, NJ (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com, on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 11 am, at the Funeral Home.
