Roxbury Township, Mrs. Mildred J Strong, 92, died on December 14, 2021 at Home. She was born and raised in Sheridan, MT and moved to Succasunna 64 years ago. She held 3 Bachelor Degree’s and was a High School and Elementary School teacher for the Mt. Olive Board of Education. She then worked at Burrelle’s and retired in 2016.

She was predeceased by her husband Edson Davenport Strong, III in 1993. She is survived by her 3 children; Edson Davenport, IV and Mark Arthur Strong of Succasunna, and Ruth Elizabeth (and Jim) Costigan of Jefferson Township, 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
