Roxbury Township, Mrs. Mildred F Orchard, 98, died on July 9, 2026 at the Morristown Medical Center. She was born in Morristown and grew up in Dover and Wharton. She lived at Lake Hopatcong for a while, moving to Roxbury Township 69 years ago. She earned her Registered Nursing Degree from Jersey City Medical Center and was a nurse at All Souls Hospital in Morristown. She was a member of the Succasunna United Methodist Church and a member of Ever Young Seniors. She enjoyed playing solitaire, dominos, word search and spending precious time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband Albert H. Orchard in 1988, and is survived by her 2 children; Debra Fenton and Robert Orchard his wife Cathleen Barrett, grandchildren; Heather Gallia, Amanda Gallia and Ryan Orchard, great-grandchildren Kiele Hunter, Crew Hunter, Clay Hunter and Kaelin Hunter.

Friends may visit on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home, followed by the interment at the Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover.
