Fort Pierce, Fl     Mary Veronica Kelly, 80, died on May 10, 2014 at Treasure Coast Hospice, in Fort Pierce. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Lake Hopatcong from 1965-1978 and in Succasunna from 1978-1994, before moving to Florida 20 years ago. She was the recreational director at Merry Heart nursing home in Succasunna, enjoyed painting in both oil and water color and enjoyed many conversations with friends under her Tiki hut. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

 She was predeceased by her husband James in 1997 and by her sister Eileen Alana Chambers in 2007. She survived by her children James R. (and Cynthia)  Kelly III of  Rockaway, Shawn P (and Gerald) Mercure of Foothill Ranch, CA and Beth (and Jack) Doyle of Succasunna, brother John V. Chambers of Brick and, 7 grand children; Shannon, Jimmy, Elise, Jacqueline, Sean, Kara and Charlie.

 Private arrangements were by the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com). The interment was held at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester, with her husband James.
