Chester Township, Mrs. Mary Theresa Cowap (nee Maureen Lynch) died on December 21, 2016 after a short illness. She was born in Newark, NJ, and graduated from the Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair, NJ. Maureen was a resident of Chester Township for the last 52 years where she raised her family. She was a retired supervisor for the Hartford Insurance Company in Rockaway, NJ, and recently as a partner with Flanders Valley Monument Company. She was an avid reader and spent most of her time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents John Patrick Lynch and Mary Theresa Lynch (nee Ward), sisters; Kathleen McCloy of Seattle, WA and Eileen Lynch of California.

She is survived by her husband James A Cowap, of 61 years, 8 children, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, twin brother Michael Lynch, and brother Vincent Lynch.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends that knew her. She made an everlasting impact on the people that she loved. “…and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.”
