Roxbury Township, Mrs. Mary Ellen Gulick, 85, died on April 27, 16, at the Merry Heart Nursing Home. She was born in Cedar Knolls and lived most of her life in Succasunna. She attended Bayley Ellard High School in Morristown, and was a retired waitress at the Three Sister’s Restaurant in Dover. She was one of the first 18 founding families of St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, who first met at the Skating Rink.

She was predeceased by her husband Harold Gulick in 2004, and her 4 siblings. She is survived by her 5 children; Harold Jr. (and Lorraine) Gulick, Kenneth (and Mary Ann) Gulick, Mary Ellen Dugan, Patricia (and Jesus) Chapparo, and Michael (and Denise) Gulick, with whom she lived for 35 years. She also leaves her brothers; George and Carl Glaab, and sister Eleanor Allen, 20 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday from 4 – 7 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church, with the interment to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
