Roxbury Township, Mr. Marion A Kopinski, 88, died on July 16, 2025 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. He was born in Kamien-Koszyrski, Poland and came to the United States to New Orleans, LA and then moved to Chicago, IL before moving to Succasunna 48 years ago. He served in the U S ARMY during the Vietnam Era and then earned his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Picatinny Arsenal retiring in 1995 after many years. He was also a member of St. Therese R C Church and of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife Maria (Walerska) Kopinski of 62 years, and by his 4 children; Greg (and Donna) Kopinski of Flanders, Edward Kopinski of Harriman TN, Barbara (and David) Bounds of Sparta, and John (and Angie) Kopinski of Hopatcong. He also leaves his 8 grandchildren; Ashley (and Idan), Amanda, Alex, Ryan, Chris, Rachel, Kevin and Timothy, two great grandchildren; Delilah and Dylan, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his 2 children Paul and Mary, grandson David, and brothers; Michael and his wife Mary, and Charles and Teresa, sister Henrietta and Bill, and by his parents Kazimierz and Helena.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ. 973-584-7264 on Sunday, July 20th from 2  – 5 pm.  The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, July 21st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese R.C. Church in Succasunna, NJ followed by interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
