Marilyn A Hepplewhite

     Long Hill Twp, Mrs. Marilyn Ann (Stevens) Hepplewhite, 100, died at home on May 4, 2026. She was born in Englewood and grew up in Palisades Park, NJ. She lived in Plainfield for a while and moved to Millington in 1958. She worked at Bell Telephone in New York many years ago, and enjoyed traveling and was always eager to learn something new. She was a long-time parishioner at St. Vincent de Paul R C Church in Stirling, she was also the longest and oldest volunteer at Morristown Memorial Hospital, with more than 40 years of award-winning volunteer hours.
     She was an avid reader and news enthusiast. For many years she made meals for F.I.S.H., which was a Catholic Service Group that made meals for anyone in the community that needed meals delivered to them.
     She was predeceased by her husband Ralph T Hepplewhite in 1993 and by her son George M Hepplewhite in 1990. She is survived by her 3 children; William T Hepplewhite of Succasunna, Robert M Hepplewhite of Millington, and Nancy E (and Robert) Harris of Millington. She also leaves her 5 grandchildren; Emily (and Matthew) Goldstein, Erin (and Mason Hoffman) Harris, Brian Harris, Lauren Hepplewhite, and Eric Hepplewhite.
     Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ, on , Friday, May 8th from 3 – 6 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday,  May 9th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Stirling, NJ, followed by the interment at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester NJ.
