Roxbury Township, Mrs. Marie L McCarthy, 90, died on May 4, 2026 at the Morristown Medical Center. She was born in Orange, NJ and worked as a Bank Clerk at the Orange Savings Bank in Orange. She moved to Roxbury Township many years ago.

She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Virginia Somma, and was also predeceased by her son Joseph McCarthy, Jr in 1987, and by her brothers Vincent A in 1991 and Ralph, Jr in 1965. She is survived by her dear friend Gerard Gaudio, and several nieces, nephew, cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 8:30 – 9:30 am at Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on May 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Parish, 151 Main Street, Succasunna, followed by the interment at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
