Toms River, Mrs. Marie E Napurano, 90, died on December 31, 2011 at the Merry Heart Nursing Home in Succasunna. She was born and raised in Newark. She and her husband, John, raised their family in West Orange and then moved to Toms River in 1976. She was a homemaker, member of St. Maximilian Kolbe R C Church in Berkeley, and was very devoted to her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband John R Napurano, of 65 years, on May 3, 2011 and is survived by her four children; Joseph (and Kathleen) Napurano of Succasunna, Mary (and Peter) Manfre of Duluth, Ga., John (and Judith) Napurano of Bethlehem Twp., and Anthony (and Carol) Napurano of Blairstown, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264)  davishepplewhitefh.com on Tuesday, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, 10am, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R C Church, 61 Main St., Flanders. The service will continue at the Ocean County Memorial Park Mausoleum, in Toms River, at 1 pm, followed by the interment prayer service.
