Stanhope, NJ.  Margaret Francelia (Farrell) Jones 89, died on December 10, 2025 at Troy Hills Center in Parsippany.  Born in Denver, CO, Margaret joined the Navy soon after graduating high school where she met her husband a U.S. Marine at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.  They married soon after and lived in Hoboken and North Bergen finally settling in Flanders where they raised their 6 children (all boys).  At age 23 she had her first 3 children in the span of ten months and surely had her hands full.  Margaret returned to the workforce at age 40 exploring various fields of employment eventually retiring from Drakes Cakes in Wayne, NJ.  She enjoyed visiting a casino once in a while, loved her Yankees and enjoyed being a grandmother.

She was predeceased by her husband Newton R Jones in 1987. She is survived by her children Dave Jones, Rich (Mary) Jones, Mike (Theresa) Jones, Tom Jones, Robert (Karen) Jones and Matt Jones and grandchildren Joshelyn, Amanda, Jamie, Shannon, Elizabeth, Zachary, Russell, and great grandchildren Evan and Amelia.

Friends may visit at Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ, 973-584-7264 on Thursday, December 18th, from 4pm – 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 19th, at 10 am, at St. Lawrence R C Church in Chester, followed by the interment at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
