Roxbury Township, Mrs. Madeline Phoebus, 89, died on April 16, 2015 at home in Succasunna. She was born and raised at home in Netcong for 82 years and lived in Taylors SC before moving to Succasunna last year. She was an EKG & EEG Technician at Greystone Hospital in Morris Plains for 20 years, worked at Dover General Hospital and for many local physicians for 39 years. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Netcong and the Double Springs Baptist Church in Taylors, SC, and was an avid reader.
She was predeceased by her first husband Alphonse Togno and by her second husband William Phoebus, sisters; Mary Smith and Rosemarie Beam, and brother Frank Lamanna. She is survived by her 4 children; Linda and Louis Marquardt of Succasunna, Paul and Mary Ellen Togno of Netcong, Kathryn and Ernest Ciardi of Taylors, SC and Tom Togno of Winston Salem, NC, brother James and Rosella Lamanna of Sun City, AZ, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
