Lore Anne Kleskovic

Mrs. Lore Anne Kleskovic, 87, died on December 21st 2016 at St. Claire’s hospital in Dover. Born in Stuttgart Germany, she came to New York in 1951. She moved to New Jersey in 1952, settling in Succasunna in 1972. After retiring from her supervisory position at a medical device testing facility, she became a homemaker and member of the Czech Society of America. A prolific reader, especially of biographies and world politics, Lore was also a huge sports fan, following college and pro teams alike. Her talent as a seamstress and her love of travel and Italian opera were only second to her being warm, funny, and kind. She was loved by people of every generation. A kid at heart, she loved going to the lake, playing Rummy cube, singing ABBA and watching Bravo. She was known as the “fun Oma” by her grandchildren and their friends. Before she passed, she reminded the family “You only live once”, and it’s clear she followed that throughout her life, filling it with fun, light and love.

She is survived by her husband Peter of 66 years, brother Dieter, and sister Doris in Germany, her son Peter Jr. [and wife Raejeanne] of Manassas, VA, daughter Jasmin Russo [and her husband] of Morristown, NJ, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 16 year old goldfish, Flounder. She will be greatly missed by them all.

Private arrangements are by the Davis and Hepplewhite funeral home, 96 Main St., Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 [davishepplewhitefh.com].
