Roxbury Township, Mr. Lester Raymond Baylor, Jr., 88,went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2014 at his home in Succasunna. He was born in Kenvil and was a lifelong resident of Roxbury Township. He was 1944 graduate of Roxbury High School and then served in the U.S Navy during WWII. He then worked as an explosive operator at the Hercules Powder Company in Kenvil for 40 years, was a 50 year Exempt Fireman of Company #1, member of the Mine Hill American Legion, and attended the Bethlehem Church in Randolph.

He is survived by his wife Dorothea F (Kanouse) of  65 years, son Gary (and Linda) of Great Meadows, grandson Eric (and Jennifer) Caskey of Budd Lake, son-in-law Louis Caskey of Landing, step granddaughter Tricia (and Kevin) Richards, and wonderful neighbors and extended family; Gary, Lisa, Samantha, Thomas, and Andrew Darling. He was predeceased by his daughter Bonnie E Caskey in February, 2014 and grandson Gary Caskey in 2007.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday from 3 – 5 pm, with the Funeral Service at 5 pm. The interment will be private. Donations may be made in his name to Connor’s House, 758 Rt. 10, Randolph NJ 07869
