Roxbury Township, Mrs. Josephine Guglielmo died peacefully on December 7, 2013 at home in Succasunna. The last surviving child of Concetta and Rosolino Vassallo, she would have celebrated her 102nd birthday on December 24th. She was born in Newark and lived in West New York (NJ) and North Bergen before moving to Succasunna 5 years ago. She was a retired clerical worker for the Red Star Trucking Company in North Bergen. She was involved in many activities at Our Lady of Fatima R. C. Church in North Bergen and belonged to the Western Slope, Golden Age and Friendly Seniors clubs there. She was also a member of the Ever Young Seniors in Succasunna.

She was predeceased by her husband Frank A Guglielmo in 1986 and leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Marguerite (and Richard) Valero of Succasunna, son Ralph (and Margaret) Guglielmo of Port Monmouth (NJ), 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Monday from 2 – 6 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 10 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R C Church, 61Main Street, Flanders with the entombment to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
